Tex, I just read in the Los Angeles Times that Apple (AAPL) is building a one billion dollar, 133 acre campus about 12 miles north of Austin proper.

Something on the order of 5,000 jobs will be added to the already 7,000 Apple employees in the city. The new campus will have the capacity to house 15,000 people.

I bet you already knew that. As there are already Apple employees in Austin I'm sure they'll pass the word to the newbies that they'll need crampons to get around the city in winter.
