If I had $50,000.00 to play with it would be lethal. The most I’ve ever had to gamble with is a few hundred bucks. I’m a pre9/11 GI Bill 10% rated service connected disabled veteran with a $136.00 a month check from the VA, and $120,000.00 in Student Loans for a bachelors degree worth nothing from a state college that ripped off any combat veteran who attended it trying to use their “GI Bill”. IT was so bad they changed it after 9/11, and called it the “Post 9/11 GI Bill” and that GI Bill actually pays for college. My Pre-9/11 GI Bill was $300 a month for four months each semester. The states just jacked the tuition and fees and cost of living soared. I do not know any other pre9/11 Enlisted veteran other than myself who actually graduated from any state college using their Pre 9/11 GI Bill. So anyhow, my stock gambles are limited to $136 a month VA check. I mean for heavens sake my gym membership is more than that for the physical therapy I need each day.
