Thanks for correcting me. They report it quarterly, not once a year. Still, we wouldnt know about changes until the next quarterly report comes out.
Remember, too, there are various ways to invest in fannie, besides just the commons and even the preferreds. Investors can buy bonds, or notes, too, so that does not necessarily disclose which.
