Market makers don't hide bids or asks in general. Yes it happens on some very rare occasions that a bid doesn't show up (happened to me before but again very very rare) but usually the reason is that people use AON or their size is not above the threshold level for it to show. That said 7k at these levels is definitely above the threshold to show. Did you get the fill at 25 cents now?
