I think the letter is too hard to track down to cause the pps movement we all expected. You don’t see the actual letter here or Yahoo boards or most anywhere else. The letter clearly lays out the current status of discussions and where the company will be headed in the near future. I see no reason the deal doesn’t get closed in the first quarter since they have much of the framework already set. Let’s payoff the toxic debt holders, clear the balance sheet and build some value. It will be interesting to see how much capital they can raise for an acquisition. There are some interesting public and private companies in the lighting and green energy space that could be targeted.

I think the pps will move eventually but it is taking some time for the news to kick in fully. Maybe when the deal is signed we see an explosion in price to match the uptick in volume we have started to see.
