Z, I've probably added more XXII this year than most people posting here have altogether. Lately, though, I've been souring on the company, as it seems to be putting all of its eggs in the VLN basket, for no understandable reasons. To those who scoff at the MJ potential and claim it's not consequential, a footnote, I scoff at you:

https://mjbizdaily.com/chart-first-year-medical-marijuana-sales-maryland-could-hit-100-million/

And that's just one small state and just medical. Imagine the numbers from CA or Nev., including recreational. It's a fairly safe prediction that at some point MJ sales will dwarf those of old time ciggies. I agree, though, that hemp, at this point, is largely irrelevant.

Altria has clearly given the FDA the middle finger and most of the big tobacco companies have stated they are increasingly less interested in selling cigarettes, that it's a declining industry.

Have a look at this:

For the first time in my memory there has been greater institutional selling of XXII over the past 30 days than buying. This is not inconsequential. Those who are not math challenged can figure out the decline in share price over the last year of XXII vs. MO and understand that this is actually not a done deal in investor world.

And for any knuckleheads who think I'm impatient or was looking to make a fast buck, look at my avatar and see when it was created, that's how long I've been patient, since way before anyone here ever heard of Dr Gottlieb.
