What kind of baggage does APHA have that you speak of? I hope you're not referring to that now debunked short sellers report.

I disagree and would argue that APHA is one of the most desirous MJ companies for a global partner for the following reasons:

1. Aphria stock trades at a Deep Discount relative to its peers
2. Its has one of the lowest, if not THE lowest cost structure in the industry
3. It has an excellent management team with a proven track record of success
4. It is the 3rd largest Canadian producer (and one of only 2 major Canadian producers left who have not struck a deal with a global partner).

No one is interested in any kind of deal with GGB, so whatever they have to offer does not matter.
