Now that the Patent is Public. We get to see the Transaction History via the PublicPAIRs Database.

As suspected it went thru multiple "Rejection" Phases. So no doubts this Patent went thru some serious modifications to get it to pass. The last rejection was this past September. So this explains the generic language and lack of full details on the claims. It will take some time to go thru a lot of this now that all the details are Public.
