"In December of 2003, the Wolverine Gas and Oil Corporation — Kings Meadow Ranches 17-1 well drilled into a 487 foot oil column in the Navajo Sandstone. The well established commercial hydrocarbon production in a thrust belt fold located 146 miles from analog production. Completion of the well and subsequent drilling has now established what we call the Covenant Field. Discovery of the Covenant Field has opened up a significant new onshore oil and gas province in the Sevier thrust belt of Central Utah."
