It is not just the US, but I think in Europe / UK most people have little or no confidence in the politicians ... France is in revolution... nightly riots, yellow vests squatting on roundabouts, protesters surrounding hypermarkets so they cannot sell (people want them shut and business returned to the towns and villages)... east Europe is violently against immigration, Greece is back in another mess, Italy and Germany in 'technical' recession.... wealth creators (middle class rich) are opting out of Europe because of high taxes and bureaucrats in Brussels nannying them to death... man, Europe needs a fat spliff...
