Hey EyeDocTX..Just because someone doesn't make much money doesn't mean they don't work hard. The company I worked for downsized in 95 and I was one of the ones that left on my own terms before they went under. During that time I was a regional manager and supervised 23 retail stores. I moved from MO to Fl (Home). There I worked selling computers and delivered pizzas until I could get into something better. Made less than $30 thousand that year. But, I will tell you what, most of the people that I worked with worked just as hard as anyone I have seen but for a lower wage. The amount that someone makes has no bearing as to how hard they work. And, the taxes taken out of their wages makes it extremely difficult financially if they have a family. My wife is disabled and we couldn't afford cobra ins. Couldn't afford the $600 per month. She goes to the dr every month and her meds were over $300 per month without ins. Had to make a choice. I take it you haven't been there for a while.(if you have ever). It has taken me more than 8 years to get out of the hole I was in, and did not claim bankruptcy. I have worked very hard to get where I am, but don't forget where I was.

Not trying to offend or downgrade what you posted, but the lower to middle income people will never get a break. We both know that. Do your taxes and be glad you have all the deductions that you claim to lower them.

I might be a leader, but don't follow me-I stumble a lot!
Finally got forced into helping..
