It_will be years_before Codelco_can get_into the_lithium mining_business
As we will remember the all-powerful Chilean Comptroller has Codelco's (Cochilco) panties tied up in 3 or 4 big huge knots in court with their suit/legal-proceedings prohibiting Codelco from engaging in any business outside of Copper (ie the stealth underlying purpose/crux of the suit). Mining Minister Where's Waldo-Baldo Prokurica is trying to "unwind" this court room tussle/fight between the Comptroller and Codelco, but he is simply out-gunned and doomed to fail at expediting this decision.

If you catch anyone stupid enough to be telling you that Codelco is going to buy our Chilean Maricunga property during the next two years then instruct them to read the LT Latercera Pulso newspaper once in a while... Pulso follows this Codelco Total Cluster Frack SNAFU like a hawk with excellent first person coverage originating in the court room.

And accordingly Codelco will be severely crippled from claiming/implementing any sort of eminent domain condemnation proceedings (for lithium) on us during this period... which when it is all said and done, is music to our ears. Long live the Comptroller's suit against Codelco!
