Not seeing the increase in assets unless you are talking about goodwill not sure what that means .....I think it is the difference between the value of the assets your purchased and what you paid for them

A bit like buying a house for 2 million but the bank appraised it for 800,000

Maybe I got it wrong but I do not think so...
