The William Sharpe Hospital operates 24 hours per day. The CEO is on site maybe 9 hours per day. It is not his job to walk the floors and monitor every activity. As a State Hospital it is likely unionized, making it difficult to fire people even for cause.

That is why they are probably going to privatize. A private company has much more latitude to run the facility. Most of these hospitals in VW are under staffed due to budgetary constraints. Should we blame the CEOs of all of these facilities for that, of course not, that would be foolish.

Hopefully they privatize and let InMed straighten these facilities out. They can run them like the award winning Chrenshaw Community Hospital.
