First, if these eggs represent the complete shipment of eggs to Vietnam, the first order of business will be to raise breeding stock.

According to the PR, some are and some aren't. The PR stated 2 shipments at the time the last PR was written. The PR prior was written sometime around Jon's trip in early Dec, and maybe edited just before release. You have to see the rest of the pics. We do not know if cocoons processed in Michigan are being shipped with each shipment of eggs. They may be using them for practice and making fabric, as part of the pilot. But cocoons are definitely there. Where they shipped with the eggs or were they already being produced in Vietnam with verbal permission many months ago?

I doubt that the current facility has the capacity to raise that many silkworms.

It could be that all shipments of eggs must go through VIETSERI and IoB-VAST first then they stagger production per regular production schedules. For all we know they are working on the 6th shipment.

If Vietnam digs in their heels, add months to these projections...

TET might have something to do with delays, or not. Not sure if all work ceases or things keep moving and government shuts down to party. I do not see delays from the government. At this point things appear to be going by pre-conceived agreements.
