Why aren't we hearing about Sears' Christmas sales, certainly a major revenue source now and a powerful clue to the future viability of the stores? I'm sure the judge and the creditors will be pressing for that crucial information.

My guess is that Sears -- with its shabby stores and empty shelves -- had an especially terrible holiday season. Sears Canada (with 12,000 jobs) wasn't saved and SHLDQ won't be either.
