One thing you all aren't thinking about. If you have something of value that can be split in to many pieces and still maintain a core value, kind of like a stock...

Say said stock had a total value of $100.
I own 25 shares Bob owns 10 shares cheesey beard owns 14 shares and the Company own the remaining 51 shares.
Said company decides to add another 100 shares to the AS. WHAT DO YOU THINK HAPPENS TO THE VALUE OF MY SHARES???

I guess you are right though.. I don't get it.
