Don't be misled. Infringement is not determined to exist from the date of the first patent, or even of the first patent application, but rather to the date of the first notes or other proof by the inventors of when the idea was conceived and sometimes this predates the patent by years. From old records that inventors are usually meticuluous about, VPLM will likely be able to prove the actual inventors concepts predate the first commercial usages.
