I don't believe he gave any warnings about making his exit until after the fact. However, if you were aware of his opinions turning negative and you were following his reasoning, why did you not also lighten up or close out your position? That was in 2007... and after your ordeal with your Father, what made you hold on for several more years? I won't mind if you treat this as a rhetorical question. You don't have to answer. Would it not have been just as well to exit and then consider getting back in (?) similar to what Lowman was suggesting he might do.
