Never heard of the very clever Motif Investing. Doesn't sound like anything I'd use. John Bogle's been asked about "flavored" index funds and he advises sticking with the basic S&P 500, especially if that saves fees.

There's a group on IHUB that's always trying to find gimmicks to beat the market... and they find them too. Until their discovery blows up. The result is a different investing style every month or two. And a lot of churning as fad ideas change.
