I think that's more likely. I've never known a stock price to soar after a president leaves a company after all. Besides the guy was comfortably retired, he's not desperate for the money and likely has no reason to 'spite sell' I think we have been a victim of 'spite selling' in the past with the conversion of some of the C series pref shares.
