Excellent post. I would like to add upon your statements regarding the swap stations being ideal for the taxi and bus markets. I agree with this, however, I feel that the swap stations are also ideal for all electric vehicles. We know that currently electric vehicle batteries are very expensive and don't last too long. With the swap station model, you essentially rent your battery by paying a fee each time you swap your battery out for a fully charged one. This ensures you always have a good battery for the life of the car as the swap stations will take degraded batteries out of circulation.
