I'll ring in here and say this: I once owned a stock under ticker AND*. It had it all... Top tier advisers that would reply to you on LinkedIn. The company had it's own IR department. They had a website, twitter, facebook, and all the social media outlets. They even had technical companies they signed on and there staff would reply to the investors on top of the IR department.

The stock appeared to be GOLDEN. The one stock in the OTC that was legit and was going to TAKE THE WORLD BY STORM. The stock went from .0001 to .038 in under 60 days.

Well guess what, it was a scam, and all of our investors got screwed. The CEO bailed, dumped his shares up in the penny range. The CEO bought himself a new $250,000 house, in cash, and under his wife's name to hide it. The rest of the company pumped and lied to us for another 6 months while our CEO was long gone. The rest of the people at the ticker allegedly posted pictures of a non existent products so their shares came off restriction to dump on us and leave with a nice profit too.

The MORAL of this lesson is: Until a ticker shows proof of something of substance. Proof of revenues. Proof of contracts....it means nothing. You own nothing until it is verified. So invest at your own risk on the OTC pink sheet. Some of us really got screwed by companies that were all talk, promised the moon, and convinced us they were not your typical OTC stock.
(final note: that stock is now at .0006 and many people lost over $100,000 a piece...)
