not too weird for the DTCC to be involved since they clear and settle trades--besides having a company called CEDE, who actually is the nominee owner of your shares that you are the beneficial owner of thru your brokerage (assuming you use a broker)...

You appear to be hung up on revocation---which was done by the SEC and happened over a month after the suspension because FFGO failed to cure their ills--or I believe even respond to the SEC...

the NSCC (a subsidiary of the DTCC---happy now? smile) gets involved when an issuer is suspended, stops trading, and is ineligible to use the DTCC's services---when the suspension ends (10 days), the NSCC notices the world that the issue is again eligible to use DTCC services (Continuous net Settlement, deposits, clearing, etc)----that's the only DTCC involvement here---nothing to do with suspension, "reinstatement", revocation...

edit: click the Dec 7 2011 DTCC FFGO search result HERE to see the NSCC also put out a notice when FFGO was deleted from their system when the ticker was revoked, never to trade again...
