When sellers are absent/exhausted it doesn't take as much volume.

Especially when the sellers are short selling MM's.

First they race each other down the bid as to not be the last one to sell shares highest.

Then they race each other up the ask as to not be the last one to get shares back lowest.

They don't go up forever.

They don't go down forever.

Oversold<<<~~~~~~~~~~~~~>>>Overbought.

It may not have a thing to do with what the company is doing... in fact usually doesn't with sectors that are mostly speculative with very little institutional investment.

This is the game. All normal (and yes somewhat appalling)
