Amazon's next move is to setup distribution centers and customer pickup locations across the country. Real estate space is limited in major cities, but there are already many old kmart and Sears locations across most metropolitan areas in the US. Makes sense to me. Lampert sees this and wants a part of it. The question is will the common shares be spared or a new company with new shares and an IPO be setup instead. Imo
