Got an esoteric question for you.....

I've recently been going over data from around 2008 & 2009 & 2010, from around the time I first became involved in the Stock Market. Back then, I didn't know what a stock shell was. I found tickers I haven't seen in about 10 years, but one ticker I was specifically searching for is something I could not find....

Back in the day, me and a friend of mine would email back and forth ticker symbols and trade ideas. One of the things I remember sending him was this story on a rubber factory that had just been forced to close. Why was this important? IIRC, the factory (and associated rubber company) had a ticker symbol to go along with it. IIRC, it was @ $0.0001. Again, back then I didn't understand the implications of "shell stocks", stocks just waiting for some other company to come in and buy them. This one, assuming it didn't get de-listed, would have made for a great shell. Only problem is, I cannot find the article that I saw all those many years ago.

So tell me, does this stock ring a bell? The article probably would have been from either 2009 or 2010. Any clue what I'm talking about? Thanks!!!
