I don't mean to be nosy or anything, but can I assume most of you folks up here whp buy stocks like sljb, and some of the other real cheapies and extremely speculative stocks are doing so with a very small portion of your total investing portfolio and that most of the latter is invested with good solid established companies?
I buy these typesof stocks myself(including rspg), with mixed results, but well over 85% of my money is managed professionally and invested safely.
I firmly believe that if someone invests too heavily in speculative stocks(those selling for a few cents or even less than .01), that eventually he will lose;the odds are badly stacked against you over time no matter how well you think you will do.
