You can always sell a stock short of it's potential but you are correct, you can not short a stock under $4. Too many people here do not know the true definition of shorting a stock whereas you sell someone else's stock on margin and when the stock goes down in price, you purchase it at the lower price and give back the shares to the "person" whose shares you sold at a higher price!
