My small TRTC long position has a cost basis below $2 and is simply "risk capital", it's of no concern if it goes to zero as it's in a taxable acct so I'll use the loss to offset gains. But, IF TRTC does pull it off, I'll gladly pay capital gains taxes.
Not sure who "my friends are", if you are referring to the influx of GDLFF people, well they are wisely analyzing the risks and rewards, along with all the red flags of TRTC past.
