He wasn't willing to do the visionary things needed in the 90's to turn Sears into Amazon and he got destroyed by Amazon and he also got destroyed by Wal-Mart at his own game.

He has no vision apart from thinking a smaller retailer will do when the retail experience is dead or dying in most of North America. Until the retail experience is reinvented to grab our attention back from digital experience this will not change.

He completely wiped out Kmart commons to reboot that dead horse and who here thinks he won't wipe out commons of Sears to reboot it.

History is the only teacher here.
