I'm pretty ripped right now, but I think that .08 is after hour gains vs the days loss.
And ya.... those $18 apple shares I bought in 2002/3 are still worth 100 times what I paid for them (thanks to splits), but I had a shit load of them and they have dropped over 70 bucks a share. I'd be down 7 figures if I hadn't been selling them to buy gold.
I've been spending most of my time out in Cobourg looking after my ailing Mom. I've been fortunate enough to have 12 hour nursing care for her in her final days. She's spent the last 6 days in bed, sleeping and not wanting food or drink. I guess her 97 year run is almost up.
Weather wise... It's been great. It was almost 50f today and I should have been out deer hunting. I wound up cooking a full turkey dinner for my daughter and her Beau.( They officially got engaged last week. He's been posted to Africa for 3 months and leaves Jan 5. We had a nice family dinner (minus Mum), and exchanged gifts. Now I'm working on a jug of Crown Royal and an oz of sister glue....(weed). I guess knowing my Mom will soon be passing has me down.
