Yep. Stay away from “analysts” opinions on RASD’s. Most OR staff don’t even understand the complexities of this type of surgical procedure.

Transenterix has one single product, “Senhance” and it is a RASD (Robotic Assisted Surgical Device) that was built by SOFAR in 2009. SOFAR, a Italian pharmaceutical company built this device and named it Telap ALF-X, they are based in Milan, Italy and partnered with a few clinical hospitals in Rome for testing and clinical studies. In 2013, ALF-X received CE clearance in Europe for these trials. From 2013 to 2016 clinical studies were conducted and proved Alf-x was not a viable platform based on Laparoscopic comparison.
