Kiss this investment good-bye. What happened to loan that had gotten thru underwriting. No wonder he doesn't want to talk to anyone.

In retrospect, buying $160k land that you don't have the funds to buy looks like an even a worse decision now that HF has booted them. I don't see this recovery now. Esp since the bridge loan officially hasn't been approved by some underwriting or else it would state that.
