Is it possible everyone is putting cart before the horse?



No. The company has a history of being dishonest about previous findings, and business situations. Now they've hired a PR company that has a history of dishonest promotions.

Why on earth would anybody take a "Lets wait until they actually burn us before we say anything" approach?

This is what this PR company does without exception. "This time" is not different.
