If the plaque were softened or dissolved after treatment it would be a major find as the implications would be enormous. But such findings
would have already been observed in the trials, (I think) and reported as such... but it hasn't.
So after further thought to my own question, I'm inclined to believe that the restoration to healthy arteries in the area of the once diseased ones, permit the formation of collateral arteries which then allows normal blood flow.
Of course I'm a real neophyte here so I speculate based upon what little I know. Could be a good question for the trial docs however.
