You can use 0% liquidation value for assets you don't own.
That's why the crazy portfolio of scattered ill-matching silly assets have not been sold. And never will. They can't, there's nothing for the shareholders. The market knows. The management knows.
Of course they would have sold instead diluting and defaulting and breaking promises.
