The reality is money in the stock market is never lost. It just transfers from one account to another. When the market crashes money goes somewhere. someone is making a killing. While everyone else is losing their shirt with their investments. If the media did an investigation they will reveal that money is never lost just being transferred somewhere else.

So the moral of this story is, "keep what is yours in your pocket and not let it slip into someone else's pocket. Which unfortunately happens more times then we want to admit.
