It's About Damn Time

I didn't expect the mainstream media, through its wide array of TV, radio and online outlets to completely miss the biggest news for investors last week, but as the days are moving on, I see they, again, have no clue about what's happening in the cannabis industry. It's insane.

This news is powerful and could lead us into a renewed bull market, as 2019 begins.

On December 12, Congress passed the Farm Bill, which mainly deals with agriculture subsidies and food assistance programs. One of the provisions of the bill is the full legalization of hemp, the non-psychoactive component of the cannabis plant.

This is not the level of legalization Canada has passed with its Bill C-45, which allows adults to use THC-enriched cannabis for adult use, but the Farm Bill (coupled with the recent resignation of anti-cannabis attorney general Jeff Sessions) paves the way for future full decriminalization of the marijuana plant for all uses in America.

{2019 is going to make 2014 look like crackers...The Bull Run In some of these stocks is going to be insane. Cannabis Recreational re-legalization is great everything, but the Big Money will be in HEMP. CBD Products are already taking markets by storm. And now they can go nationwide. BTW many (not all) people that use Cannophen will find that it CURES cancer. }

Remember, even in Amsterdam, where this industry is thriving, the authorities have set up a special system, which works perfectly for them, without legalizing the substance.

The Farm Bill has had overwhelming support from both Republicans and Democrats, including Mitch McConnell, Rand Paul, Jeff Merkley, and Ron Wyden. McConnell, the Senate Majority Leader, has remained a steadfast and powerful ally for the pro-hemp movement.

Nothing less than the future of the farming industry rests on legalizing hemp on the federal level. It’s time to show the world what Kentucky American farmers can do with hemp.

And it’s not just a big deal for the farming industry, as hemp legalization will remove all barriers to the sales and use of CBD or cannabidiol, a non-psychoactive ingredient of the cannabis plant, which is used in order to relieve anxiety, stress, pain, and insomnia. CBD-infused products including beverages, supplements, gummies, chocolates, moisturizers, and even dog treats have been best-sellers in North America and worldwide.

{I've said it before I'll say it again: Find your favorite cannabis stocks particularly CBD stocks & buy them. $RBII now has the ability to put their products into big-box stores. Are all they need to do is to get Cannophen into ONE nation wide chain. BUY.}

The Farm Bill will now go to President Trump’s desk. He is expected to sign the bill without any delay. With cannabis already legal for recreational use in 10 states and for medical use in 33 states and the District of Columbia, the passage of the Farm Bill represents a critical psychological achievement for the 80-year-old prohibition regime.

Putting in place the proper regulations and oversight and the DEA's removal of hemp from the controlled substances list sets the stage for companies to embark on major capital expenditures.

Congress has taken decisive action that will benefit both businesses and individuals. With legalization in full swing, the hemp plants will grow tall and strong – and so will cannabis stocks in the new year.
