Wrong!

the otc short report website https://www.otcshortreport.com/company/GMER

pulls the info directly from the FINRA daily short list http://regsho.finra.org/regsho-Index.html

You must have heard this argument from other boards, as this is not the first time I’m seeing this inaccurate statement being regurgitated

While it is true that the MM’s make a market by briefly borrowing shares (I.e., naked shorting); the position is not always closed (covered) right away. This is especially true when a stock experiences a sudden volume surge.

The short volume is above 50 percent during the fast few days. This tells me that the MM’s are trying to buy themselves time and box the price in at a certain trading range. You can tell by seeing ASCM on both top bid and ask. The strategy is simple, they are hoping that the interest dies down so they can cover at a lower price.

If we continue with the buying pressure, it will force them to cover (I.e., short squeeze). Generally, a catalyst like the one that we are expecting on Tuesday will be the last ingredient that we need for a MASSIVE short squeeze.
