I’m assuming you are talking about VATE since the volume is a bit higher there than in SIPC and CANB

The buying volume on the way up in VATE was a lot more massive

VATE had days of 20M and 15M during the recent runup, so in comparison the sell volume over the past few days has actually been pretty low

I think the sector is selling off because traders moved in before the vote in the House and Senate and that didn’t trigger a sector rally so they are selling now

A lot more traders obviously picked VATE leading up into The Farm Bill passing Congress, in comparison to SIPC and CANB, so it makes sense that we are seeing more selling volume in VATE relative to CANB and SIPC

There are a lack of buyers in general right now, but this has happened before every prior cannabis mania so it simply isn’t predictive

The people who own VATE, SIPC and CANB now, along with the traders who are currently selling their positions, are not the ingredients necessary for a mania to occur

The only necessary ingredient is new investors entering the sector due to a massive catalyst like Hemp & CBD Legalization

And because of that fact, the trading activity and price action in the weeks leading up to a mania have never been predictive
