In regard to the post below, yes as was the case last year we are overdue on our filings. They are a work in progress and we will lodge ASAP.
The 4th quarter is the busiest period in the aviation connectivity business as it encompasses all major shows and exhibitions where owners and operators review the latest technology which has evolved over the previous 9 months.
The Bizjet announcement in the link below is the culmination of this year’s development of our airline technology. The airline technology designated “fflya” forms the core of all our new Iridium Next satellite connectivity solutions. Currently 65 of the 66 Iridium Nextgen satellites are now in operation and the final ten are confirmed to launch on Jan 7th. (one filling the final slot and nine in-flight spares). While Iridium is 18 months behind the original schedule, we can now move forward in 2019 knowing the full capability is in place.
