450x52x$2200= $51,480,000 a year
But they are saying they will sell the first year for about 1400 a pound
450x52x$1400= $32,760,000 on the first year
Farm bill just got passed just waiting on trump to sign.
Even without the farm bill passing if those numbers where really this good would they not just try and find an investor to front the money with interest since they will be able to repay quickly.
There’s a news document that details the rent and how much cash in hand etc vs how much debt and they seem to have a really high debt. Rent is cheap and I can’t seem to understand how they are losing money with such a great business they have talked up.
But then again in the article it was mentioned that they plan on cultivating 450 lbs each week and selling for 1400$ a lb etc leading to believe that nothing has been started yet and or that if they have started they have done so with a relatively small scale.
