I believe the 4.50 per pound spot was for an early flowering plant with small buds or lower CBD buds in which case the harvest would take the entire plant which would be processed for CBD, where typical bio mass material does not include the bud and would (I’m guessing) have a much lower CBD yield and perhaps not even be used for CBD extraction but for other purposes.
Agreed - even just a 20k yield on 100 acres is excellent. Reality will set in when the contracts get settled and the demand is set. A lot of unknowns for now but pretty much guaranteed the market will drive the price per pound down if there is an over supply. Even if they expand the acreage 10x and get $15 per pound that’s still a $3 million every harvest.
