wrj103, I have never seen an airport queue move at 80 mph! and I can’t imagine a situation where I, myself, would be using my phone in 80 mph wind.
I am sure there are instances where fingerprints are preferred, but I am definitely seeing an increase in facial recognition where I thought fingerprint would work as well. JMHO
