One of the many reasons I’m still here!

It has been a roller coaster journey from hearing Dee’s initial idea to brainstorming the concept, tweaking along the way, defining the brand narrative, developing the brand positioning, looking at several locations, renovating, creating investor pitch decks, overhauling a website, writing copy, helping with menu development, taste testing (my favorite part!), creating the launch marketing plan, instilling processes, hiring interns and marketing staff and the list goes on. Coming from the corporate world, it’s been an eye opener learning what it’s like to start a business from scratch! Not having a large flexible budget and skilled support team gives you a feeling of walking a tightrope and forces you to stretch your creative and entrepreneurial skills to a whole new level!



One of the best moments! Along the way an investor partnership formed with CRUZANI, a business development company that builds and acquires franchise concepts, as well as other related businesses, throughout the United States and internationally, launched restaurant operations in partnership with Recipe Food Co.

Oh and a regional sales executive at L’oreal said he needs to try FOOD RECIPE CO, friends that can take Cruzani places.
