Huh?

Never said it didn't, just referring to a post made by another member who said that NEWS, rather honest, fake or manipulation doesn't drive up or lower stock prices.

Again, I can't even really tell what is trying to be said here, but whatever it is, it's not a very good summation of my point. My point is not that the stock price doesn't go up and down with news, it obviously does. But movements based on news are short-lived, while movements based on earnings tend to last (at least until next earnings report).

News is for traders, earnings are for longs. Know the difference.
