Don't really know all that much about Discord, but I'm not sure that's for me.
This board was a good idea, but I started it years too late. Times are changing on the OTC, mostly gone now are the days when companies would IPO, and immediately launch big time promos, or go on big runs. There was great money to be made back then for the earliest investors. These days not so much, and not really worth the time and effort it takes for me to constantly monitor them. This was always just a fun part time hobby for me, but I've felt like I had to be glued to the computer constantly the last 2 years since starting the board, so I can get the alerts out ASAP, and it's just no longer any fun, especially when so many tickers are disappointments.
Generally, the best new issues are the ones that get some significant buying from outside of iHub,(ie see SEDO!!lol) and there were very few of these this year. Most just got a quick pop from iHubbers, and then quickly retraced, and it was not the goal to find plays that only 5 or 10 early investors made any money on, but all 100+ board followers, I was thinking bigger scale.
Ultimately I'm not sure it's even advantageous to alert every new issue publicly any longer, may be better off to quietly buy if it looks interesting, and patiently wait, let the companies do their thing, bring in buyers on their own. Rather than have the tickers look like p&d's, after a short iHub only pop and drop right off the bat.
So, I won't be alerting every new issue next year, and don't expect to spend nearly as much time posting publicly on iHub, just basically going back to doing this on a part time basis, as before, and hope to find a couple of good ones a year.
