I wonder if Trump’s seemingly indifference on the GSEs is because he knew he had to wait for Watt to vacate and any action prior to that would be futile. Maybe behind closed doors his plan all along was for Calabria to take over and he was just biding his time. Let’s not forget that ackman and mnuchin are friends. I don’t think ackman would have held this long if he thought things would go sour. I can see Mnuchin telling Ackman to have patience and all will be made right eventually.

I do know one thing. If there’s no progress made by next year, I’m going to move my money elsewhere. This charade has gone on too long. I sold my MA and AAPL to buy FNMA, hoping for a win in court, and I have thoroughly regretted it.
