December 11--It was a delight to wake up to a cloudless sky. I decided to walk to work. CC the Calico Cat was especially hungry. We went exploring twice today. She remained behind this afternoon, probably waiting for a mouse to emerge near dusk. I brought home a coffee canister of potting soil to star onions come Jan. 1. Dixondale Farms has onion sets -- the Walla Walla and the Cippolini.
